Around, all around the dark memories gather.
My dread grows as the dagger of your words
falls against my heart.
It wounds me, and darkly my blood drips to the
broken ground.
In pain I cry out, why?! While death surrounds me
Now alone, my cry of mercy falls upon cold eyes.
This is your love.
Mercy Mercy Mercy
Firstly, I enjoyed this poem
I make my own mercy
and my blood drawn by
whatever inanity
you mouth screams
back, "Not Here!"
.
World-wide hate
aimed this way
leads to world-wide
peace slung back
at you with a shit load
of Bibles and Korans.
.
And the Bagvadgita
and The Torah and
the many psalms of
the world footnoted
with the collected work
of Confucius.
