Cadaver

I was frozen when you found me.
My hands always cold to the touch.
Your warmth once thawed out me.
Maggots now bloat my crust.
You play God.
Your minions bow down.
There to afraid to challenge you.
To go against the tyrant's crown.
I was born of the winter.
My heart as cold as death.
For a brief moment I felt alive.
A cadaver is all you left.
You play messiah.
You mislead your Jews.
You've fed them things un-kosher.
More corpses to abuse.
I've been brainwashed.
I've been tarnished.
I've been torn apart.
I've been stabbed in the heart.
You play coroner.
You cut me open to analyze.
You already know why I died.
The fractured heart lies there.
In a bed of tissue and bone.
I'm the love you once known.
You play mortician.
You can't escape your memory.
You can't preserve my body.
Pretty you paint my face.
You've left such a waste.
I've been fed to the soil.
My death will spring new life.
You found your sustenance.
While carving the knife.
You took what you needed.
I've sacrificed it all.
You soap up and lather.
Prepare to feast on another cadaver.
