I won't sleep tonight.
I haven't been sleeping at all.
Without having you to love.
Who'll be there to break my fall?

I couldn't show you then.
Didn't want you to see,
how vulnerable I really am.
We were such special friends.
I can't see that its all over now.

I don't know what to do.
I never showed you then.

Relationships always come to an end.
Our ship was sure to have sunk.
If I had a choice,
I don't know if I'd set sail again.
I'm feeling like a lonely pirate.
Yearning for you I'm miserably drunk.

Intoxicated on your vivid memory.
I look for you,
In every smiling face I see.
I never showed you then.
I was stuborn and utterly proud.
Another stormy voyage has come to an end.

I never thought love ran so deep.

Cause' now sobriety has seeped in.
Now I see this world in shades of blue.

But I weep for what we once were.

Sometimes I wish I had cried next to you.
Just so you would've had a visual,

The saddest part of it,
Was that we weren't ment to fit.
