You all are lifted to heights unknown
But I shall stay grounded, I will stay here
All because I can't find a way to trust this
There's something not quite familiar here
This time it's not because I want to rebel
Against the cause of good, no, it's different now
Issues i can't resolve within myself
They hold me down, bind me with their painful lies
Deceit is widespread around me, it infects my lungs
Piercing my breathing apparatus causing ruin
I distrust this malignant state of apparent happiness
You won't see me for a while
For I believe these feelings are contagious
