Knew it wouldn't be easy to start with
But it gets easier each day that passes
In much discomfort I can see you writhe
How strong you can be when you really try
It doesn't matter that I broke down
Yes I am tattered and yes I am torn
Here I am now with no drawn on frown
I hold my own keys, control my own destiny
You can't be the ruler of my mind
I am mine and you cannot have me
I removed the mask that made me so blind
