I would say that ponds won't always outweigh lakes,
but that wouldn't be true.
Lakes create ponds.
Ponds are everywhere and so easily formed.
So easily used.
And so often abused.
It's not as if there is a moral decision to make
when, in these times,
it's so hard to find a lake.
In these times.
In these times gratification isn't gratifying.
Not when these ponds are rapidly mulitplying.
In these times.
Not when, in these times, and for most times ahead,
originality and composition are certainly dead.
You don't even give yourself time to blink.
Why would you, when, in these times,
you don't even have to think?
