I look at you

and wait to see

what kind of love

you have for me

stars fall, and still no answer

i ponder and query with a glance

I see you, but you are looking away

to a distant land, where the bright moon lay.

i know im not there in your dreams

i am not the one, for you to see

bloodshot eyes ramble on

hoping for a far off place with less red

tears fall down from my face

my life has never seemed so dead

of all the games that i have won

id lose them all for you

of all the deeds that i have done

for you, ill be blue

the courage that i dont have

the gamble i dont want to make

may i pray to god

that i am yours to take.

for i have been cheated

from my fate

All the words that are not said

rumbling and stained in my head
