Together 4 Christmas

Folder:
Christmas

“Let it snow” I once heard walking by Rockefeller Center.

The town or shall I say the great city was covered with snow that looked like a fairy tale castle in the clouds. I walked around that day until I heard bells that told me it was time to go home. I went to 42nd the New Times Square train station.

Where I awaited my 2 train heading towards the Bronx. Before my train arrived at the 42nd station, I watched New Yorkers and foreigners struggle with their bags filled with teddy bears, robotic toys, game boys, and even a bottle of wine. At that moment I started to think what gifts I was going to get. I felt selfish, but I also realized that Christmas was not about presents or cooking lots of food, but being together with those who you love. There was a time someone asked me what is the greatest gift I have ever received. I told that person it’s not something that’s visible. He asked what I meant by that. I said the greatest gift is the love someone can give you. Before I left to catch my train I also said the greatest gift I have always had is a family who loves me. I feel that gift even more when we’re together for Christmas.
