The abuse of this man

Folder:
Love Story

The abuse of this man has her frighten to believe that she has a chance to escape from this terrible rape that would replay in her mind everyday. She stays…She’s in love without knowing her love has become a conditional love. Where he controls the volume of the house and her income.

Where would she go? Can she leave? It’s not easy having kids with this man. Would she be considered to be a deserter?…She wants to leave him, but she also wants a family.

So, she stays hoping to heal these wounds and pray there would be less abuse. This pain of everyday hits and verbal mental abuse has her suicidal. In the beginning he was the man of her dreams, he got her everything…From saying I love you to giving her a baby…something she wanted, but not so soon. She didn’t even finish high school. He works the streets as his baby mother stays home crying to give her baby something to eat. The same excuse roams the room every night, “where were you, who you were with… ‘hop off me, I was trying to make some money’…then who gave you that pink lipstick mark on your lips?” He slaps her too many times…telling her that he would never lie, and she should stop with the accusations before he gets his knife.

Her parents told her from the start, “Don’t get serious with anyone, you’re too young” Not taking their advice, she was left on her own without an invitation to ever come back home. He rented a room where he dealt drugs, and gave her minimal support.

Damn! Only 16 years old, and she holds all this pain inside her…What kind of advice I gave her “You never know until you try?” I was wrong this time…Not everyone deserves a second chance, and certainly not this man who was 22 years old when he took her innocence. Natalie, I’m sorry I should have told you to stay home, that same night he slept with you, and made your life up to this day miserable.
