Watching the blank stare
Of the flickering colours
Back and forth over and again
The glare is entrancing
You cannot break away
It is so tempting and easy
Shall we do this tomorrow?
Again and again the dependancy
To embrace the virtual life
And to soil the socks we wear
For quick enjoyable fun
But you are helpless
So drained by self dependance
You cannot get out
You cannot get in
Sit and stare and suffer
In your own little shared world
You can't love this
You can't love anymore
So you finally escape
And get into the real world
Do you feel out of place
Of what you have missed
You try for the bonding
You try to fit in
But you cannot now
Because you chose the easy path
So you go back
To your repetative life
And you die there
How pathetic are you
