Those big city lights and a northern boys charm
Mix like martinis at everyone’s favorite bar.
He put a tab on time and it has been hours
Of coasting the scene to witness stereotypes.
He walks down sidewalks full of love and leeches
Trying to figure out whether debutants die
Or just live outside of the ticking clock;
Frozen in a stasis of perfect vanity.
He kicks broken bottles down the pavement
Wishing for memories to remember.
Strolling down alleyways to deserted diners.
Watching the people is like the past to pictures.
