The season of gluttony has arrived.
It's killing time on the farm today.
The livestock are nervous as always
As the butcher man paces down the aisle,
Picking and choosing life like some deity.
May it be the pigs or perhaps the cow?
One can never tell in these situations.
Who will be chosen to pay the price
For hungry bellies and frothing mouths?
These animals know only cages
And cages are where they stay.
Stuck in endless routine, just waiting
For the guillotine and its quick deliverance.
