TO BE HUMAN

We exist as a mix,
Of race, color, and creed,
Though one thing is the same,
The color we bleed.

Normal is illusion,
For each is unique,
Still we’re surrounded by hatred,
And unfair critique.

The world is richer,
Because of difference of view,
For it gives us many choices,
Regardless of skin hue.

So try to be blind,
For we all have a different face,
Yet all are still members,
Of the human race.
