The Life After Death
Physical death is inevitable. It can happen anywhere, within or outside your home. It will come regardless of time, at morning, at noon, in the afternoon, at night, even at dawn. It can happen to children, male or female, rich or poor, unknown or popular. Death knows no boundaries. It comes in form of disease, accident, calamity, murder or just brought by age. Either ways, death can’t be controlled. Medicines and vitamins that strengthens man only prolongs life but can’t defeat death themselves. A person really has an end and will experience physical death unless he will witness the coming of Christ.
What awaits after physical death?
The “judgement of God” will come after death. Every soul that departs in this world will face God to give the judgement of his life.
What is judgement?
Judgement is the time when God makes decision to let a soul enter His kingdom or not (Revelation 20;12;15). Death is the gateway to other place where there is no death but eternity. There are only two places a soul can go, heaven or hell (Luke 16:19-23).
How does the Bible view the heaven and hell?
Heaven is a place where there is no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away (Revelation 21:4). It is a place where nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful (Revelation 21:27). It is God’s dwelling place among the people, and He will dwell with them (Revelation 21:23).
On the other hand, hell is a place where there are worms that do not die, and the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:47-48). It is where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 25:30). There, you will remember your life when you were still on earth (Luke 16:25)
How to achieve salvation?
God will use someone to remind us using His words which is the Bible. If you want to enter His kingdom, you must accept their message about salvation. The Bible said that salvation is not measured by our good deeds because everyone is a sinner, instead, salvation is achieved when a person accepts Jesus as his personal God and Savior.
