So sick of this life

Never wanting another day

Left in nothing but strife

And never having a say



Just let me go

Feeling trapped in my skin

Can’t let go of these fears

Lights flash and dim

Letting nothing go but tears

Cannot breathe any more

Just lying here

What is there left to live for

Is this what I fear



I’m not afraid

Only wanting to soar

I had it made
