I listened to her heart mur mur,

And I heard her mother cry,

But the doctor said,

There's no reason she can't have a normal life.

He dismissed himself for the day,

I heard some worry fade,

But the repeated beat paused,

And her mother began to bawl.

I tried to fix her for myself,

To watch after her every move,

She didn't get it, she dismissed it,

But the world can be so cruel....
