I promise to have bubble gum,

And get you out of what you've done,

Take up for you when Mom is mad,

And defend you when so is Dad,

I promise to be proud of you,

In all you are and all you do,

I'll support it if you make the choice,

For good of bad it was yours,

I'll drive you to were you want to go,

And convince your mother if she says no,

I promise to wake up late at night,

To offer a warm bed after fights,

I promise to love you all the time,

Love you just because your divine,

I promise there is no price to high,

I promise if you need me I will fly,

I promise to be your best friend,

I promise to understand more than now and then,

I promise to be who you think I am,

I promise not to let you down in the end.
