Personify The Sea

I’d like to see the sea sweat, noticeably sweat, so we could see the glistening drops on top of the waves shine like a whore’s skull. Is it going to be afraid if it is careless enough to go with the flow (no pun intended) or does it need to be strict and restrict its shore to a substantial red line that says “Do Not Pass” for the sand will retaliate?

How interesting that would be, a war between sand and water, like a torrential flood rushing through a village. It would be disastrous for the sand I think but than again don’t underestimate what you think you can conquer, there is a power in all those little grains and they will seek purpose to fight back. They will call upon the little fleas and little crabs and other creatures of the land and bend their will to and fro, searching for those who are not afraid of the oncoming wave. They will barricade themselves in with shells and coral alike, they will dig trenches and hide in the murky mush beneath the seeking eye that is the wave. We shall aid them without knowing; we will build them strongholds and give them weapons. We will charge forth and splash about with our bare hands and defend the brave shore, and we will lessen the blow that the wave brings on. It shall know that our blow will linger on its tips and it shall be reminded to keep its peace. For we think we can control the storm.

The sea shall send forth its mightiest fish and they shall charge the sand. They will be the onslaught the sand has never seen the likes of and each shall hang a trophy on his tropical underwater wall in remembrance of who was valiant that day. The fish will deem this an easy task but they will not realize that those tiny little grains hold a power beyond belief, that those little grains will be ready and waiting for the onslaught and they shall send out an assault of their own. Swords shall clash in attempts to win the other; it will be a clash like no other. Nature versus Nature and there will be no victor.
