Hand over the key
These iron bars no longer hold me.
Oh, to be wild and free!
A songbird trapped in a cage,
knows naught but to sing.
But if you show her the world,
She'll find her own wings.
An' I fly away,
to the great beyond.
I'm free to fly,
My tethers are gone.
I'm wild and free!
She leaps from her lonesome perch,
and wings to the sky.
A wild blue yonder awaits;
Space for her ot fly.
She is free as can be now,
none sand in her way.
The world reflects in her eyes,
a new place to play.
An' I fly away,
to the great beyond.
I'm free to fly,
My tethers are gone.
I'm wild and free!
Her captivity's over;
No master has she.
All that calls to her now,
is the wind in the trees.
An' I fly away,
to the great beyond.
I'm free to fly,
My tethers are gone.
I'm wild and free!
An' I fly away,
to the great beyond.
I'm free to fly,
My tethers are gone.
I'm wild and free!
