WHEN I THINK
When I think of Christ his death on Calvary,
And what he sacrificed so that I might be free.
I am overwhelmed with emotion and I stand in awe.
Of One who would give me grace to replace all my flaws.
I didn’t deserve his mercies or any of his love
But he gave His life so freely, then he went to live above.
He left his Holy Spirit to guide me through my days.
And He gave his Inspired Word to teach me all His ways.
Why should I murmur and complain for I am blessed beyond all measure.
And knowing that He reigns in power gives me ultimate pleasure.
So if you are growing weary and your heart is filled with despair,
Just remember the Father loves you and you are always in his care.
