When you've had your quarrel and said good-bye,
For days and days all you do is cry.
You think that your life has ended,
And your broken heart can never be mended.
This fact is often proved untrue,
For as time goes on, so goes the blues.
The future you will be able to face;
For there is another one to take his place.
You'll soon forget about John and Harry,
And your thoughts will turn to Fred and Larry.
As each new boy you add to your list,
The last one you dated, you don't even miss.
The moral to this story is a simple fact;
Once he's gone, don't take him back.
Just hold up your chin and learn to be wise.
Date hundreds and hundreds of other guys.

I left my ex, i thought i loved him. But i soon realized that he didn't feel the same way. I regret breaking up with him but then again I do not want to love and not be loved back.

i agree with your poem.. its so true, although it takes more time for some than others! :)
Wow. I mean really, I idolize this.
Smilesz. i guess the phrase 'practise makes perfect' is a wonderful reason for writing the ending lines... esp: 'Just hold up your chin and learn to be wise. Date hundreds and hundreds of other guys.' Hhaha... rather witty in some ways. ;)
