If ever, you should find
Yourself ascending
A steep stone staircase
Carved into steep mount,
And contemplate giving in,
All one has to do is
Think of the one who carved it.
For there are moments,
That define you as a person,
And there are moments,
That You, as a person, define.
If you fear failure,
You fear success.
For you will fail many times
Before you find success.
So embrace failure,
Learn from it, and therein,
Succeed.
Not only an excellent poem,
Not only an excellent poem, but its message deserves to be in every quotation book, and taught to first year students im high school. I wish I had read something like this when I was young, which was back in the days of the dinosaurs; it would have helped me be a better student, especially in the many moments of discouragement prior to autumn, 1974.

Thank you!
Yes, I am grateful to have been taught by my grandmother that we should always try to frame our struggles in a way that helps us overcome them and less their insurmountability.
Happy you enjoyed the piece!
We'll just keep writing 'til there's nothing left to write.
We'll just keep waiting 'til they read all our works left to right.
