the glinting tide of metal envoys, vying
for control and push where there was
little to be had. In their fragrant din, they
stayed as two links to a chain, or rather,
two cohesive entities -- pressed against restraint.

whose name's not known. But she too
would grate her wits through
the tedium of day, and finally at final
hour, her tedium could fade. And if and
when the doors would open, she would
lower glass; blasting free,
audaciously, and stowing then his way.
