Scream to midnight
And await her response
The moon light distorts you
A vicious display
Of utter human waste
As a petty thief darts into view
Wielding a miniature blade
Pulled by an imputent hand
Smiting an innocent
Laying blood upon the land
Nothing out of the ordinary
An imitated act of shame and greed
Pathetic mugging of a woman
A well deserved punishment shall be agreed
Give chase and take blame
For his covered escape
Do not inform the public
Whispers punished in the laws name
Organs sing
Mourners weep
An innocent today
In unshakable sleep
And the guilty still flees
Though he stills beholds his freedom
Though the facts reveal his existence
The government refuses to believe them
Proof to our simple minds
That good is not always triumphant
The other side often prevails
Opening our eyes to this
Sideshow of escaped criminals
The lies comfort the feelings we share.
Good in short lacks certain things
Ruthlessness and brute force can be tools to our advantage
If we'd only learn such things are not against holy law.
