The Dance Continued On (The finale to “Two Artists’ Fate” and “Day The Spotlight Faded”)

Years have passed
and she has grown weak.
She misses him so much.
She can’t even remember
the last time she could use her feet.
For cancer took her legs
and continued throughout her body.
As she reached out one last time,
She spoke her last words…
“Yes, I would love to dance.”

Her hand met his.
He brought her to her feet
and they began to dance.
All of the angels and even God himself
were left in awe by the power of their love.
That fairytale that some said died years ago,
the one about a damsel in distress and her knight,
ended with a happy ever after,
and the dance continued on
for eternity.
