Never Enough

It’s not enough,

To just strike back,

It’s not enough,

To hear spines crack,

And babies scream

And soldiers die,

It’s not enough,

Just to let it lie,

To let great men

Forfeit their lives

For bitter memories

As each man strives

To cut his name

Into history's trunk,

To

Let the big city burning

Begin the war again

In the city of god,

There was already thunder,

The fortress went down,

As the country went under,

It wasn’t enough

To let it lie

It wasn’t enough

To let 3 thousand die,

You can’t fill the hole,

That that day will leave

(no) Matter how many die,

No matter how many grieve,

So strive for peace

And hope for the right

As

The big city burning

Begins the war again
