A hypnotic metronome
Your thoughts become intertwined with mine
This can't be love
Love only equates to pain
But you're lips shed light into my dark past
With just a single kiss you set my heart on fire
Extinguishing the darkness within me
A fire not of pain and suffering
But that of an angelic breath
Recessitating emotions long thought dead
No longer shall the weight of the world exfixiate my soul
No longer starving me of my basic human needs
Your eyes so brilliant they shatter the chains I fought so hard to create
Protecting, safeguarding my cage
Every kiss electrifies my newly exposed heart
Will you hold my hand as I let go
Of everything I clench so tightly within my fist
Without hesitation you extend you grasp
Pulling me back from the event horizon
I fall into your arms
Your embrace speaks to me without words
Still confused on the definition of these emotions
