and I can't help but wonder
what the future holds.
Happiness is all I ask for.
My resolutions to be healthier
for both myself and my son.
The cold rain washes away
the heartache that has come before.
I look forward to what
is to come to be.
I will be happier and healthier
in my thoughts and my actions.
Maybe that will bring about
the changes that I long for.
Only time will tell.
