A day gone by and I do not hear from you.
A phone full of messages to remind me
you promised me forever.
1,000 songs and they all remind me of you.
I see the look on your face as you sing along.
Miles away and you're my only thought.
Where are you my love?
Do you sit there thinking of me
as much as I sit here thinking of you?
So many fears spin around my mind,
the further this road takes me.
I drink away my fears
lost in a sweet oblivion where I am in your arms.
I smoke away my doubts
remembering the way you looked at me.
I never knew missing someone
could hurt so much.
My future with you my every hope
I look up at the stars and wish.
Praying that time will fly away
and I can once again bask in your presence
My love, I promised I would never let you go;
I only hope that you will do the same.
Wrapped in a shirt that smells like you,
I curl up on a hotel couch and dream.
I love you with every piece of me.
I am yours alone, forever.
As I drift off to sleep I remember...
and dream of all the things I'll say
