My happiness fades
as summer sun to winter ice
My mind clouds
haunted by thoughts of you.
My soul is shattered,
corroded by a single memory.
Eyes the window to my soul,
you can't see my sorrow.
A ghost, barely there,
in the back of your mind.
I would give you the world
if only you'd let me.
