We had sworn as friends,
Always companions,
Until our lives end.
But since last summer,
The pact we had died,
And, honestly,
It's tearing me up inside.
Tell me its a lie,
Just another bad dream,
We used to always hang out,
And we'd never not be a team!
The world was ours,
But now it's forever lost,
Our destiny of friendship,
Has become uncrossed.
Still I see you,
Hanging with your friends,
While I linger in the crowds,
And wait for the scar to mend.
Best Friends Forever,
I remember such precious words,
They never have left my mind,
Though still I refuse to move forward.
I treasure our memories,
Every single inside joke,
I've never forgotten your courage,
That I always seem to invoke.
Late nights, funny pictures,
And flashing cars at night,
Like two sisters,
Filled with juvenile delight.
Call me crazy,
And maybe a little insane,
But I'm sorry if I must speak my mind,
I always seemed to complain.
