Alarm pressed to dismiss, rise and shine,

it's now the time to finally get what's mine,

but by the look in your eyes i can tell

there's nothing more to say, oh well,

i tried...right? no one knows,

just one more thing before the feelings go,

are you so sure that this time will be any

different then all our others? sure have plenty,

you know just where i stand, i'm vocal,

no need to take a trip to find love, i'm local,

but by the look in your eyes i can see

there's nothing to say, another time to leave,

pillows secured right below my head,

eyes closed, pressed shut for the night ahead,

awake the dead and let em live one more day cause

we gotta find out how to shine before we're blown away.
