One day it'll be exactly how i want,

or it'll be whatever you want,

you care less, i learned this hour,

cause i'm in love, i hold no power,

confusion is the aura and yes is what you should say,

i have seen what holding on can take away,

one more breakdown away and you'll know it,

but if it takes too long will i still show it?

One day i'll look back on these days,

smile and think of all the lessons learned in this haze,

the mistakes, the right choices and lasting memories,

all i can hope is that you stay friends with me,

do you remember when i first said it? i loved you,

and the scary truth is i still do,

what happened to the feelings you had before?

guess i'm destined to always question til i hit the floor.
