In a cruel world i found love,

but just love wasn't enough,

i wasn't in line, darted off track,

called my love another name, twice can stack,

more can attack me and make me act,

like love, heaven and hell were not facts,

just acts to a play while the director leads,

he loises voice while the actors bleed,

actresses leave and are replaced easily,

still not sure what any see in me,

hard to see myself, permanent fog obstructing,

my present, past and the future i'm constructing,

if love wasn't found in such a hopeless place,

maybe i wouldn't daily remember your face,

in pre smile stage as your lips prepare,

to no longer conceal your happiness, time to share.
