August 2012 I remember every moment we spent together,
under my covers or in your car under rainy weather,
through all these lonely sleepless nights,
only the thought of your smile makes it all alright,
every time i wake up i'm reminded you're gone,
what was once 25 now is 8, can't be long,
until i finally know if you are past me,
or maybe you decide to keep me around and Kath me,
sad truth is you could have me, as much as i don't,
want to say i'm waiting it's true, but i won't,
ever admit it cause then the powers don't share,
cause it lies with the one who least cares,
maybe if pairs attracts you and i,
when you return you'll die to try,
baby lately i've practiced the sentence,
if only you could stop me from being so defensive.
