If I Ran My Course

Folder:
August 2012

If i've run my course that lasted a fourth
of the amount of time i thought we were worth,
well of course i fell for a girl on a horse,
but stood back up again after feeling off course,

every morning running down to south and back to north,
trying to escape the source of wanting a white horse,
of wanting to be a prince for a girl who's mere force,
has momentarily managed to knock me back on course,

may have been shocked by her beauty prancing,
but it doesn't add up to the beauty of her dancing,
i was stuck staring, can't call it glancing,
immediately in my heart she was advancing,

imagine the chances of falling for her dances,
acting like a caveman tearing down branches,
building her her own empire compared to Athens,
and for once not worrying about the circumstances.
