April 2012 A record month for my written word,
to think all this time a waste is absurd,
i'll admit in a third that without this release,
i'd long ago have told this world peace,
just wanted a little peace of my desires, still i do,
and i see it with you, baby i love you,
and i'd love to just once wrestle on your couch,
watching some movie with you holding me like a pouch,
around you i can't slouch, your presence is a gift,
provides me the board and wave, gives me a lift,
so for a moments time i can stop lyin,
when i say you're mind, forever i'm tryin,
someday up ahead i will be happy and it's true,
that i hope i can find it with you,
restlessly sleeping and waking up in a blur,
waiting until i can again be beside her.
