I savor every moment that we were able to share,
close my eyes and swear to god you're here,
through all these miles that divide me from love,
across these mile i'd travel just to feel love,

every time you push me away it takes a part of me,
every time you say sorry it's too hard on me,
every time you say you love me i hope you feel it,
every time you hear i love you too know i feel it,

i count the texts and pictures that we've sent,
when we're apart my car won't start cause of your dent,
i hear your voice over the phone, god i miss you,
still all these miles between us keeping me from being with you,

every time you text me before i wake up i smile,
every time you act like loving me would be a trial,
every time you tempt me to leave the sleepless city,
every time you make me think damn you're so pretty.
