I still wish to go back to the day you met me cause,
back then nobody including me knew that there was,
any slight chance for me to hit a homer with you,
grand slam to end my career, now i miss you,

i wish you would just tell me what part i play,
cause i'm tired of feeling worthless every day,
fuck anything you say, how can i even trust,
you after you taunted me with the actions of us,

just jump on a bus and take it far away,
leave footprints of broken hearts astray,
can't hold you anyway so i might as well just be,
the smallest amount of good i could be for me,

but you would be the best, i'd peak too soon,
i'd take your light and reflect it like the Moon,
wish i could still move your hips like i used to,
wish i was someone you'd choose to.
