October 2011 Not saying it's love cause i know you have others,
how is what we had different from any other covers?
nothing can cover the fact that you actually lift me up,
it's like saying there is no alcohol in my dixie cup,
sometimes i get to this and decide it's ok,
to open myself up and write this shit away,
not much to say when there is too much to think,
since you could finish me off quicker than a blink,
i told myself i would never get like this then i met you,
a small amount of peace is not why i'm regretful,
it's cause i found perfection 5 hours away,
and with me traveling usually only goes one way,
yet i want to thank you for bringing out my best,
for cuddling close at night and sleeping on my chest,
the rest is probably fables nothing but all talk,
trying to go back to the pier so we could at least walk.
