August 2011 The one girl i've been looking for shows up hours away,
a fire inside that burns with every word we say,
damn sure had others, tend to force out feelings,
never receiving when i'm handing out dealings,
money exchanged for a ticket by your side,
you said you'd save a spot, hope you didn't lie,
cause then i'd feel stupid for even wanting to try,
should have just stayed in my corner, let the count go by,
why fight when the pain never deserves the outcome,
you'd have to see my past to know where i'm from,
placing faith in the wrong choices cause i'm dumb,
taking a seat placing signs for pity, i'm bum,
i'm done, had it with hiding and always pretending,
these late night calls will not be never ending,
i'm tired of sitting idly by to the signs your sending,
taking my truths and falsify them by bending.
