Can't stand knowin sover we never had a shot,
then intoxicated it seems you don't wanna stop,
always had to happen at the end of her block,
still i remember holdin you and makin your tears stop,

my plans were already dropped, my defenses were severely weak,
how could i let you see me when i wasn't at my peak,
should have never allowed you to climb up,
should have taken from Kristina that friendly shove,

i might have already said too much, of every word i'm proud,
still i can't get the thoughts to stop being so loud,
i thought that i heard you laugh, thought i saw you smile,
dimples can't be faked, that laugh needs to be put on trial,

talkin to friends in denial sayin that there's nothing,
when all along i think of our eyelashes touching,
that night i heard you speak the truth, head you sing,
my sky was overcast and i never noticed a thing.
