I wish
I was in another state
so that the distance between us is both far & great,
and i would live out the rest of my restless days
under the warm calming west coast sun,
so when i leave in the coming hours and days
don't convince me to stay with your unbelievably unstoppable lip biting ways,
and i will be free from your smile that is in the corner of my morning cup of milk and spliff of haze.
