I sit alone to face my fears, I face alot more than just that it seems,
roll up an entourage with eagerness & patience, wait for the lonely moment right before my dreams.
A hero is noble, honest, true, and fights for justice,
well I'll save all that nonsense for those born to do so,
I dream of dark nights and rainy days,
no emotions on my face as I stub my toe.
Bleed out while the drips slide down to the rug,
float about the bristles in a space all to their own,
I am me, you are you, why can't we be together above our bristly world?
the toad has been thrown from his throne leaving for a world of unknown.
A change of heart, a new leaf has landed on the ground,
flipped from dead brown to lively green with the cooling breeze,
I never knew such a cold front could calm me after such a warm high school into college,
I may cough from a cold suffered by your wind but never will I call you a disease.
