I got so lost in you I didnt realize what we had wasnt meant to be,

Started friendly, but sped up too rapidly,

Every time i let you in i watched you walk away,

Every time we argued it was always you that talked away,

Havent you heard? I'm not yours anymore,

Yell that nightly in my dreams behind my closed door,

I know if i hold onto your ghost you'll always be haunting me,

But the memories havent faded fully and are still taunting me,

I never once felt enough like we could be equals,

Only felt like the rushed straight to DVD sequels,

Go ahead and tell me you got all you wanted, Jefferson says you're wrong,

If not then I'll skip the playlist and learn a new song,

We both hear the same songs as they release but hear differently,

One hears sad while one hears happy,

Gonna find a way to find a better woman with a strong built bond,

Not one when it comes to looking to the past shes fond.
