Said you thought about me all along,

But failed to tell me until we were long gone,

Used to feel wrong, used to get drunk just to unpeel it,

Once hurt so bad all alternate universe versions of myself could feel it,

Just deal with it, so long ago it's a faded memory,

When she saw something in me that I couldn't see,

Still haven't seen, scary big fact,

I chose to be happy and being in love with you was not that,

Countless times i attract until it gets rocky and rough,

Then I'm replaced by another face, never been good enough,

If I didnt have the stuff to make you happy, so many flaws,

Then I hope success and wealth does, slow applause,

Low bow, step back and the curtain falls,

Wipe the tear off my eye, stand there and stall, 

Whisper a question with eyes closed to nobody at all,

Am I running through that mind of yours at all?
