I'll Forget Whenever The Heartbreaks Over

Folder:
December 2019

I remember when i thought it pointless to chase you,

figured it would be twice as easy to replace you,

that debt has been paid full, four score ago and 365 blunts,

it's hard to remember i was in love with you once.

A past i won't confront, a ghost i can never outrun,

what was once thought of as the moon and the sun,

without your fun how can one shine without the other?

both lighting up the sky but never to be with one another.

Too much can smother, too little can forget,

you took away years long pain and i can't thank you for that,

still beyond upset, lasted all these years,

afraid i've found out there's truth in fears.

No love in the bottom of beers, no sex after liquor,

you were just the right amound of crazy i was lookin for,

want a lie? i'm cooking more, i'm growing up to show her,

still believe i'll forget whenever the heartbreak's over.
