The preacher man, looks at me
Tells me changes I need.
How I need to serve the Lord
surrender all, and give him more
You don't know what I've been through
There's not nothing that He can do
I am saved, and been redeemed
But I just can't give it all you see
I know that He is there
But I don't really care
He will be there when I die
Until then He can't have my life
God is loving, He'll understand
Why I can't give him both my hands
I am comfortable where I'm am
So I'm sure its in God's plan
He doesn't need me to do His work
That is what all these others are for
When we all get to heaven
He'll still smile at be and give me blessings
Now I turn to see my Lord
He has no smile, He looks so hurt
I now can see the tears in His eyes
As He looks at me, and asks me why
I didn't understand what His tears were for
Until He turned me around, and my heart tore
All those people who I didn't tell
were screaming my name in the torments of hell
Why didn't I live for Jesus Christ
Why didn't I shine His light
Because of me, He had to send them to Hell
Because of me, they haven't eternal life
Because of me, there are tears in His eyes
Jesus gave all His life for me
Why couldn't I have done the same for Him
