preparing for tomorrow thinking about today
trying to get up and get on my way
refusing to shine lustfilled negativity
artificial gestures mirror positivity
shifting foundations splitting nations
absorbing revelations jumpstarting relations
inching towards grace while pinching disgrace
realizing they will never be replaced
but that purpose that set me here
to whisper these nothings in your ear
these gems of analyzation so rare
sometimes we feel unaware
upliftment and enlightenment makes you stare
fill these holes dug deep that blare
characteristics of the wrong element
found a way to circumvent stings to my soul
but i am built up in the Lord and therefore i am whole
