Riddles drip in perplexity
Sinking down into a swimmingly dizzy depth
Underneath stars abound.
All you're dreams fade
Sparkling, and dying.
Still seeming to shine in utter brilliance,
Even as they disappear.
Sighs rack your brain,
Your lungs filling with dust and time
Bearing the burden of
a generation of pernicious lusts.
Drive, work to the bone,
Fingers disintegrating to nothing,
As you strive, breaking ground
Burning down all the bridges you've crossed.
Nothing seems to bring attention to you,
like pinstripes and plaid.
Marking your sisters with a crucible of self doubt.
Indecision plaguing you, drawing you up
Up through messages written in stars and on faces.
Lips smiling in triumph.
Watching you kill yourself just a little more.
